This powerful statement necklace features a 2-inch long Hypersthene focal pendant, set in a hand-carved claw-style setting that I created in my home studio using the ancient Lost Wax Casting technique. The organic claws hold the stone securely while allowing its natural shimmer and reflective depth to shine.
The pendant hangs from a 17.5-inch beaded necklace composed of sleek obsidian, shimmering Hypersthene beads, and a glowing Sunstone focal bead for contrast. The strand is accented with natural textures and finished with a push clasp, making it easy to remove the pendant and change it out with other charms or pendants for a versatile look.
Hypersthene is known for its subtle metallic sheen and grounding, protective energy, while obsidian offers deep shielding and clarity. The addition of Sunstone brings warmth and vitality, creating a piece that harmonizes light and shadow—a talisman for strength, balance, and inner illumination.
